breaking news
Baseball is known as either an afternoon or evening game. But Wednesday the Colts hosted the Rio Grande Valley White Wings at 10:00 AM. This early start allowed local elementary schools to bring their students to watch the guys play baseball. The game got off to a great start as Jason Crosland hit a two run blast to left field in the bottom of the first inning to give the Colts an early 2-0 lead. But the White Wings would battle back and get the win by the final of 7-4. With the loss the Colts record drops to 7-7. The two teams will play one more game in San Angelo on Thursday night before traveling to play the Whitewings in Harlingen for a four game series starting Friday.
