Over 250 Students From Lamar Elementary Enjoyed A Reward Day Of Swimming For Accelerated Reading. The Municipal Pool Will Be Open To The Public Memorial Day Weekend.
Built In 1938, The Pool Is A Historical Landmark And Holds Over One-Third Of A Million Gallons Of Water. The Pool Is Open Every Day Beginning June 2, And Admission Is Two Dollars For Ages 18 And Under.
With The Last Day Of School Next Week, The Young People Are Already Thinking About Summer.
One Hundred Parents Came To The Fun Day And Provided Plenty Of Snacks.
The City Put The Water In The Pool Over A Month Ago And Was Still A Little Chill, But The Kids Did Not Seem To Mind.
