State Senate And House Members Are Working On A Compromise Between The Two Different Measures Approved This Month By State Lawmakiers. The Gas Tax Pays For State Highway Maintenance And Some Question Whether An Estimated 700 Million Dollar Loss From The Three Month Gas Tax Rebate Could Be Absorbed In The State Budget.
