By: KLST Staff
Updated: May 22, 2007
Biology students from Central High School put in some time today to help maintain the San Angelo lily pad pond. Lily pad expert Ken Landon talked with students about some of the species growing in San Angelos internationally recognized lily pad pond. He says field trips like todays can inspire students to continue studying biology in college. The lily pad park is on south park street between Beauregard and Harris in the civic league park. Landon says there are blooms on the lily pads from the months of April through October.
