County Commissioners Court Will Decide Before June 15 Whether To Restrict The Sale Or Use Of Restricted Fireworks, Which Includes Bottle Rockets, For The Fouth Of July Fireworks Season. The County May Designate Pugh Park In Christoval As A Safe Area To Permit A Fourth Of July Fireworks Display. Commissioner Richard Easingwood Says The Christoval Volunteer Fire Department Will Be In Charge Of The Oversight. They Will Provide Us With A Certificate Of Insurance. It Has Turned Into A Regular Independence Day Celebration In Christoval. The Wet Spring Weather Has Decreased Fire Danger, But Increases Maintenance For County Roads. Easingwood Says That They Are Hitting The Cracks In The Roads To Keep The Moisture From Getting Down To The Subbase Which Causes Bigger Problems.
