WTRC Receives Check from Spring Chicken Affair

Representatives of the West Texas Rehab center say this years annual Spring Chicken Affair collected more than 47-thousand dollars. This year workers and volunteers served close to 44-hundred plates of fried chicken during the Spring Chicken Affair April 29th. Today at West Texas Rehab, sponsors presented a check from proceeds. The total raised was 47-thousand, 600 dollars. Organizers say that amount is slightly higher than last years total.
