Skylar Hinds

Updated: January 7, 2011
Skylar Hinds joined the newsroom at KSAN in December of 2010. Skylar is a born and raised West Texas girl, and would have it no other way. She came to us from West Texas A & M University near Amarillo where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting with a television and news emphasis.  Skylar gained broadcasting experience while in school both on the campus radio station, The One 91.1, and their news station, News One. It was during her work on News One that she realized she wanted to spend her life running around a newsroom.  Her favorite things about this field are all the people’s stories she gets to share.  She is a volunteer at heart and can’t wait to start getting involved in the community. While she loves her WTAMU Buffaloes, she’s very excited to be in the Concho Valley working in her field.  While not covering the latest and greatest from the Concho Valley, Skylar enjoys spending time with her boyfriend who is new to the Concho Valley as well and playing with their dog, Penny Lane.
