One person dead in apparent hit and run accident

Police have charged a juvenile in the hit and run accident on the city's southwest side this morning (Thursday).
 A call to 911 reported a hit and run accident at the corner of Bentwood Drive and Beverly Drive around 7:25 in the morning.  Fire and police department personnel found 73-year-old Carmen M. Sarinana lying on the roadway.  Sarinana was pronounced dead at the scene by
Justice of the Peace Russell Smith.  According to a police department spokesman.  The juvenile is charged with failure to Stop and Render Aid.  According to police the juvenile struck Sarinana, panicked and fled the scene.  The juvenile has been released to parents.
