Friday Night Accident

Two people were sent to the hospital Friday night after an accident on HWY 87. The accident happened around 10 PM on Hawk Avenue and HWY 87. Trooper Justin Baker said the driver of a Dodge Dakota was heading north and pulled in front of an 18 wheeler causing it to side swipe the Dodge truck. The driver and passenger of the Dodge truck were taken to Shannon Hospital. No word yet on their conditions. The driver of the Dodge truck was cited for the failure to yield right of way and failure to stop at a stop sign.
