"Wing Fling" Delayed By Rain

Proceeds from the annual "Wing Fling" benefit the West Texas Boys Ranch every year.
Its a dove hunting event held each year on area ranches.
But this year, many of the 100 or so dove hunters who registered for the benefit -- ended up staying inside the Saint Ambrose church -- playing dominoes or just relaxing -- and bidding on silent auction items.
"This is one of the events that helps raise money for the boys at the ranch to help with food clothing and to help take care of them ."
Hes estimating the event will raise as much as 20-thousand dollars this year -- the actual dove-hunting part of the benefit will be re-scheduled.
