A Concho Valley man is going to great lengths to encourage americans to be more enviromentally savvy. Egan Sanders was lowered into a big canvas bag Saturday. Sanders, also known as a bagonaut, rather than an astronaut will live in the big bag for 24 hours. The event is to help raise awarness for more eco-friendly shopping bags. He wants people to stop using plastic bags. Other environmentalist say by eliminating the plastic bag it can cut down on litter and save on natural resources. The bag was constructed by employees at the Lighthouse for the Blind.
