New Driver's License Requirements for Some Texas Drivers

A new state law that began Saturday requires someTexas drivers to renew their licenses in person -- or every two years. The new law requires drivers who are age 79 or older to renew their licenses in person -- rather than through the mail --- or on the internet. Also, drivers who are 85 or older will now have to renew their drivers licenses every two years and pass a vision test.
