Update on South Concho River

City officials gave the All Clear Tuesday for the South Concho River.
The water way has been off limits for fishing, and swimming for more than a week. According to the San Angelo Water Utilities Department, the river was contaminated by run off from our recent bout with heavy rains, and a damaged waste water main that leaked into the river. City workers capped and repaired that damaged main. Meanwhile water quality test slowly improved over the Past week.
