San Angelo Elementary Students Return

By: KLST News
Updated: August 27, 2007
Hundreds of elementary students found their way back to school Monday. SanAngelo school administraters say for the most part -- across the district -- the first day back at elementaries across the city went well. At Fort Concho -- some parents had a harder time saying goodbye on the first day of school -- than their children. "So far, I seem to be O.K. because I have not let him into the classroom just yet. So, I took the morning off to take him to school and see how he is going to react." Students will get the day off from classes a week from today -- on Monday, September third for the Labor Day holiday.
