asu2007-08-25-1188102657.jpgThe fall semester for Angelo State begins Monday so the university hosted a welcoming event to give students a good time before the first class.

Rambunctious weekend 2007 started Friday and continued Saturday afternoon with a dinner, pep rally and scavenger hunt. The highlight of the night was the A.S.U. version of the hit NBC game show "Deal or No Deal."

Mindy Lusk, organizer of the event, said, "Well it helps them get to know their neighbors by doing fun stuff with other people especially if they live on campus, other people in the dorms that they might not get to know at least that quickly, because if your a little bit shy you may take your time. But here were doing ice breakers."

The fun will continue Sunday with the Party at the Pool and will wrap up with a Dessert and a Movie event.
