Ministerial Alliance Building Dedication

By: KSAN News
Updated: August 24, 2007
A building that stood as the first Hispanic elementary school in San Angelo nearly 84 years ago is now serving as the pulse of the northside of San Angelo.

Friday the Guadalupe Center on 11th Street and Martin Luther King opened its doors again this time as the Ministerial Alliance Campus Personal Impact Clinic. The community joined the Alliance for the dedication of the Guadalupe Center as the Alliance's new administration facility.  The Campus will serve as a hub for spirituality, community information and education.     Various courses from Howard College will be offered on the campus. Festivities will continue Saturday evening at 7 o'clock with a banquet commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Ministerial Alliance. Then on Sunday at 3, the Alliance will celebrate the 46th anniversary of the Mobilization of Church Choirs.
