It's the big move for thousands of ASU Freshmen, moving from their homes to the dorms.

"I hope I do well, and make my parents proud," Incoming Freshmen says.

From students to family members it was an emotional day Friday as thousands of incoming freshmen moved into the ASU dormitories, starting their college life.

"In a way I feel happy, she's going to start a new life, I'm happy to do a Mom's job. This is the start you have to start somewhere," Incoming Freshmen's Mother says.

Several boxes, clothes, clothes and more clothes and a little bit of everything else, family members, friends and volunteers helped these Rams and Belles get situated. For arriving freshman, and nursing Major Erinn Blanco, this day was a long awaited one.

"Oh my gosh since your first senior year, you know it's the last day of your high school year and after that you get ready to move off and go to college," Blanco says.

Living 18 years of living at Ft. Stockton moving her new home into the Concho Hall is both a scary and excited situation for her.

"It's your last day at home and you're kind of thinking, what am I going to do, over there my parents aren't going to be there, my brother's not going to be there, so I was excited, it's a new chapter in my life," Blanco says.
