More than four inches of rain fell in San Angelo and surrounding areas this weekend. Remnants of tropical storm Erin pounded the Concho Valley Friday night, causing parts of the Concho River to flood in several areas. The folks in Christoval woke up to see the South Concho River over flowing Saturday. Several roads near Miles and Grape Creek were reported to have been closed because of flooding. To check current road conditions log onto the www.dot.state.tx.us.
