The Esperanza Health and Dental Centers hosted a Family Fair Saturday at the North Side Boys and Girls Club.

The center was providing free immunizations, vision screenings and blood pressure checks to get both parents and children ready for school. Food, drinks and children activities were also held as part of the fair.

Cynthia Calderon, Outreach Coordinator, said, "This is a week that we celebrate National Health Center Week and its a week put aside each and every year for health centers like ours to be recognized in the community to show what we do for the community and what the community does for us."

The event wrapped up around 1pm Saturday.
