Suspect Arrested in Wells Fargo Bomb Threat

Local officials have a suspect in custody connected to a bomb threat that happened Monday, concerning a local branch of Wells Fargo Bank.20 year old Marcus Jordan Martinez was arrested Tuesday and charged with terroristic threat and impairing public and government service, after turning himself into the District Attorney. Monday afternoon, the Wells Fargo Bank branch off of Loop 306 was shut down and evacuated after Martinez made several phone calls about a bank robbery and a hidden bomb. The event drew officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local police, Arson Investigation Office, and the Goodfellow Air Force Base K-9 Unit. According to San Angelo Police, no bomb device was located. Martinez was an employee of the Loop 306 branch. Additional charges are pending further investigation.
