cheer2007-08-04-1186272863.jpg The weather definitely held up for a car wash Saturday. The Lincoln Middle School cheerleaders were out at Sonic washing cars. The car wash is to help raise money for the spirited bunch to go to New York and compete in the national cheer competition. It gives them team bonding, they learn how to work with each other as well as making their skills better so that when they get to High School, they are ready for cheerleading as well as College cheerleading. Says cheerleading coach, Kimberly Kuhns. There are more than 10 cheerleaders on the 8th grade squad. The squad is trying to raise 20-thousand dollars for the competition trip.
