The Texas Department Of Transportation Says There Are More Than 49 Thousand Bridges In Texas More Than In Any Other State.
In Texas As Of Last September There Were Around 2 Thousand Bridges That Were Classified As "Structurally Deficient".
They Say That The States Improvement Plan Is Helping To Lower That Number.
They Also Says That After Every Significant Rain Or Flooding Event, There Are Some Particular Locations The State Watches Even More Closely.
