D.E.S.K. Program

desk2007-07-29-1185767477.jpgMembers of a Central High School club were out in force trying to make a difference in a child's life this weekend. Members of the Key Club were at Hastings' Saturday collecting school supplies for the D.E.S.K. program. The D.E.S.K. program helps children going back to school get the necessary supplies to succeed in school.
  The D.E.S.K. project is very important to the city of San Angelo because its distributing supplies to the school district, and to a wide range of elementary school in San Angelo. Says the advisor, Bea Barron.
   The D.E.S.K. program collects everything from pens and pencils to backpacks to notebook paper. To make a donation to the program call 224-3607. KLST is a sponsor of the D.E.S.K. program.
