Junior Livestock Show and Rodeo

4-H and F-F-A students from across the state of Texas are in San Angelo this weekend for the junior livestock show. Theyre showing sheep, heifers, goats and pigs -- the competition begins Saturday and runs through Sunday at the new livestock barns. The livestock show is being held in conjunction with the American Junior Rodeo Association finals that begin on Sunday -- theyre being held in San Angelo for the first time. As livestock competitors wrap up their show on the weekend -- students who qualify for the A-J-R-A finals will begin competition in barrel racing, bull riding, team roping and other events at the spur arena on Sunday....the competition will continue through next week with evening performances.
