New ASU Dorm Construction

Construction is expected to get underway on the stalled dorm project at Angelo State University -- as early as next month. Construction work on the "centennial village" project came to a halt during the initial process of Angelo State University being transferred from the Texas state to the Texas Tech university systems. A-S-U officials say a final agreement with the contractor is expected to be settled the middle of August -- and that will clear the way for construction to continue.
