Angelo Place Apartments...College Living

A college student housing shortage in San Angelo has created a market for apartment builders -- and one of the newest in San Angelo provides a new standard of living for students. Jennifer Jackson takes you on a tour of the new apartments -- each one designed for four students. Anyone who has ever lived as a college student probably has a few stories about their experience....but a new way of college living is coming to San Angelo.
Cater to the students and help in encourage a learning living environment. And make friends and memories from their college years. Says the marketing director, Jessica Nix.
The Angelo Place Apartments is not affiliated with A.S.U. or Howard College. It's an off campus living facility geared towards 'the college student.' The 4-bedroom 4-bath apartment is a little more than 13-hundred square feet. Each bedroom is about 9-by-12 feet.
Theyre leased by the bed space. Every person in the room has their own bedroom and bathroom. We also furnish all the furniture. You have all the furniture in the bedroom you see in this model will be included for the resident. Decorations and electronics residents need to provide for themselves. But we do supply four bar stools, coffee table, entertainment center. Uh the couch and chase lounge, uh, that can be moved around into three separate pieces, so that gives them freedom to move around the furniture. Included in the rent amount is all of the utilities. Says Mitzi Ramirez, the Regional Manager.
You have access to the fitness center. We have theatre style seating, flat screen t.v., pool table, card table, foose ball. Says, Nix.
Each person is given the opportunity to choose a roommate by using a database provided by the management at the facility. Rent is $460 each person a month. JJklst news
