Pay raise for SAISD Employees

People who work for the San Angelo school district are getting raises. At a special meeting, board members approved a proposed compensation plan for all school district employees at a cost of two-point-eight million dollars. Returning teachers will get a 15-hundred dollar annual salary increase beginning in the fall. New teachers will recieve a starting salary of 35-thousand dollars.
