The Tom Green County Sheriff's Department has released numbers from their increased traffic enforcement efforts during the fourth of July holiday.

sheriff12007-07-15-1184552098.jpgThe number one violation from June 29th through July 5th was for vehicle insurance, followed by a category called other violations and speeding. There were also several arrests made during the campaign. Twelve were made for warrants and five were made for driving with an invalid license, while two arrests were made for driving while intoxicated. If there was any good news from the numbers, it's that one person was cited for a seat belt violation.
