Unusual Accident Sends Man to Hospital

One man went to the hospital Wednesday night after a unusual accident on the Houston Harte expressway. Police say just after five this evening a mattress flew out of a pickup headed westbound on the loop causing the driver of Chevy truck to swerve into the other lane cutting off a car. The driver of that car rear ended the Chevy. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the ford truck was cited for an unsecure load.
