On Monday, San Angelo city workers will begin a major water main construction project on the southwest side of the city that will cause traffic delays through the summer.
Workers will be installing a 30-inch water main on sunset drive -- between College Hills and Knickerbocker road. Construction on the water main is expected to continue for about four months.
City officials say during construction traffic will be cut to only two lanes -- and people will not be allowed to park on Sunset in front of homes or apartments during construction along Sunset.
