Juneteenth Celebration Planned

Members of San Angelos "Juneteenth committee" are getting ready for Tuesdays Juneteenth celebration. Monday, volunteers cooked fried chicken for the annual Juneteenth picnic at the Martin Luther king park after Tuesdays parade. The parade will begin at the Carver school location. The picnic will follows the parade that begins at ten Tuesday morning. A Juneteenth service will be held at three Tuesday afternoon at the greater San Angleo I-M-E church.
