Ranch Rodeo

rodeo2007-06-17-1182127068.jpg Dozens of people showed up for the 16th annual Coke County ranch rodeo. For the past 16 years the ranch rodeo in Bronte has haled competitors from the area. About 20 ranches were competiting for cash and prizes. The Bronte evening lions club provide an array of b-b-q plates and sandwiches. Admission was free but donations were accepted. Wayne mccutchen/rodeo announcer: This will be the sixteenth year that we have put this on. Coke County roping club sponsors this, its all volunteer help and nobody gets paid to do it. The money goes for schlorships for graduating seniors from either Bronte high or Robert Lee high. Winners from the rodeo took home buckles.
