While washing cars is not a cheerleading team's specialty, the Glenn raiders cheerleaders were out shining rims Saturday. The squad held a car wash at Westlake Hardware. Although the wash was free, the cheerleaders were more than happy to accept a donation. The cheerleaders planned to use the money to go to summer cheer camp. The squad's coach says the girls are learning a life lesson in the process of washing cars. Lori Brock/Cheerleading Coach: It helps them raise money so if they don't have the money they can have something to bring to the table. It lets them work together as a team and build that up so they will develop relationships that will be important in the future for the squad. The team plans to go to cheer camp later this summer.
