Sunset Mall hosted the Ugliest Tie Contest Saturday afternoon at the East Court of the mall. All shapes, sizes and colors of ties were entered into the contest. The winner of the tie tournament received a $250 shopping spree.

Amber Smith, Marketing Manager of Sunset Mall, said, "They brought their ties in, they entered them in and we are hoping to make this an annual event where kids can get involved and bring their dads out here to enter their ties, show them off and tell us the story behind the tie."

Other prizes were awarded from mall merchants. Dads also entered into a lake gear giveaway from Family Power Sports.
