This weekend's performance is an ever loved fable titled the elves and the shoemakers.

The actors are all ages six to fifteen and pulled the show together in 8 weeks.

All of the kids in this performance are brand new to the stage and have never acted before - so as a director Josiah Hernandez definitely had his work cut out for him.

"It was definitely a challenge working on this show with them especially since they are so young and I have worked with the Broadway academy before, I am actually going on five years now and we have done 6 year olds before, but I guess what was different about that is that I had people always around me and helping me, and with this show it was very different because I did a lot of the stuff on my own."

Hernandez has been working with the San Angelo Broadway Academy for five years and brought the whole play together by himself all the way from auditions to production.
