Cut-Backs Could Come To Goodfellow

At today's monthly chamber of commerce luncheon - hundreds of city leaders and business owners heard an update on the state of the base.
Commander Colonel Damiano spoke about the leadership quality of those stationed at Goodfellow. He also addressed their continued focus on fire training and "intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance" programs.
Damiano announced a recipient of the merit award - who was not there to receive the award - as he is currently deployed in Afghanistan. The base commander also addressed local implications of government sequestration
