The event is run like a Christian women's conference and is modeled after a similar gathering that takes place in east Texas.

Christian country music artist Sandy Dickey lead the group with worship music, and guest speaker Jenna Beaver gave her testimony and led the event with the theme of "broken but beautiful."

Jenna Beaver - "I though I was in a lot a crisis, from a broken marriage that has been restored completely, and is so awesome, and until I lost my son I had really thought I had gotten through a lot of things."

Many women came from throughout the state to attend today's program, and the cowboy church says they are expecting to continue the gathering for years to come.
