breaking news
Cooler for this Wednesday after a cold front moved through early this morning. Skies will remain sunny with winds from the north-northwest 15 to 20 miles per hour, gusts up to 25. Daytime temperatures will reach below average near 59 degrees. Tonight the winds calm down and skies stay mostly clear making good conditions for cooling. Overnight lows will dip down below freezing near 28 degrees. Thursday will be slightly cooler but fairly the same as our weather pattern takes a consistent flow. Winds will shift just slightly to the north-northeast with highs only in the upper 50's. Next cold front moves through that night and into Friday morning but it's weak and will not change the forecast much. Following the front is a ridge of high pressure that builds into West Texas making for a large warming trend just in time for the weekend. Saturday will warm slightly below seasonal in the low to mid 60's, with the 70's returning by Sunday. Monday is looking to be even warmer with some areas breaking the 80 degree mark. That's when the trend is broken and the next cold front makes its way back to the Concho Valley cooling temps back to the upper 60's to low 70's.
