Today was media day and many came out to get a little preview of what will happen the second weekend of March
The town of Sweetwater will soon be welcoming more than 40,000 visitors to their city - more than tripling their normal population for the annual rattlesnake round-up.
The festival will be bringing in bounty hunters to catch the snakes - and milk them of their venom for anti-venom production to help with cancer research.
Bounty hunters come from all over and capture an estimated one percent of the entire states rattlesnake population.
To help celebrate the round-up Sweetwater will hold their annual parade and miss snake charmer pageant - and then bus visitors to roundup sites where they get to watch bounty hunters pull the lethal reptiles out of their dens, give live demonstrations for a little educational entertainment, and of course sell the skins
