Tyson Recalls Beef

A possible e. Coli threat prompted the recall of 40-thousand pounds of ground beef by Tyson fresh meats based in Sherman, Texas. Company representatives say after samples tested showed signs of E. Coli contamination, plant officials recalled the ground beef shipped to Wal-Mart stores in 12 states. Each label bears the establishment number "Est. 244s" the beef had sell-by dates of June, 13th and was being sold in pre-packaged trays. The 12 states with recalled products sent to Wal-M
