To bring the Festival on the Concho to an end..hundreds of pearls were dumped into the Concho River.
Well not real pearls, but oversized pink pearl balls with numbers. The concho pearl pick is a raffle. Each pearl ball has a number...but only six balls were picked from the river.
Candice Upton/Festival chairman: And then Bridget Jones from the Stampede is going to go out and pick five pearls and those are going to be our prize winners. Everyone has the chance to win ten thousand dollars."
Other prizes include jewlery, a spa package, sports merchandise and a health club membership. The three day festival wrapped up this afternoon.
