In this year's stock show there are 11,000 entires which sets a record for the San Angelo Stock Show.

Contestanst from all around the state are traveling to the Concho Valley with entries from 210 Texas counties.

Live stock director Brittni Kaczyk told us what keeps people coming back to this show and how it differs from other Texas venues.

"There's people from all over the state coming and so many of them say it's because of the hospitality they recieve here in San Angelo, they like the laid back atmosphere, the nice feel of the town, they're not being rushed like they are in San Antonio or Houston, they don't have to fight the traffic, so we continue to see more people coming to San Angelo for the stock show."

Shows will continue tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock in the livestock barns as well as the Foster Communications Coliseum.
