Seven Concho Valley Teenagers Recieve Scholarship

Seven Concho Valley teenagers received scholarships for a promising future. The NAACP chapter here in San Angelo announced this years scholarship recipients Saturday. These graduated high school seniors had to write an essay on why they needed the scholarship to go to college. One of the recipients says anyone can achieve their goals as long as they stick to what they want. Chris weedon/scholarship recipient: Listen to your parents, go out set your long term goals for your short term goals, and try to best in all you do. Chris weedon will attends st. Andrews presbyterian college in north carolina in the fall--- double majoring in international business and pre-law. The NAACP awarded a total of 45 hundred dollars.
