Tom Green County Commissioners Special Session

Tom Green County commissioners are holding a special session on Thursday to discuss regulating temporary housing in the county.
Commissioners say -- because of the increase in oil production activity across the area -- they expect more and more people connected to oil field services to be living here while they're working.
Commissioners will talk about regulating manufactured homes -- and rv parks and facilities.
San Angelo chamber of commerce members are also talking about the increased need for housing across the area. Oil and gas industry employees attended a safety meeting for Devon Energy Corporation's business partners and contractors.
They heard about housing opportunities -- training services and workforce development.
