There's no hiding the fact that January hasn't gone to plan for the Angelo State Basketball teams. On the Women's side it's been a struggle to score points and that leads to frustration all over the court. However, on Saturday in the loss at Abilene Christian the team may have found it's passion again. Coach Sally Brook's team scored 43 points in the second half, that's more than they've scored in several entire games recently. That offensive performance against the leagues number one team may bode well for upcoming games.

Sally Brooks: "I was very very proud, there are many many many instances in the game on Saturday where I saw significant changes in what we did offensively. I hated the way the game ended but I was really really proud of a lot of things that they did and I think that really is going to make the difference for us in the few weeks."
