Tuesday night the Colts fell in a six nothing hole and were unable to crawl out as they left the tying run stranded at third base in the bottom of the ninth inning. Wednesday night the Colts took a different approach. They came out with the bats on fire in the second inning as the scored three runs to take the early lead then they never looked back. The Colts would make things interesting in the ninth inning as they would allow Amarillo to get the tying run at the plate with a three run lead. But the Colts would hang on and get the win by the final of 10-7 assuring them at least a split in the four game series with Amarillo. The two teams will wrap up the four game series Thursday night from Foster Field with first pitch scheduled for 7:05
