San Angelo Independent School District officials are asking parents to pick up their children who attend Bowie Elementary at this hour. A water leak was discovered and the electricity will be turned off on the campus in order to repair it. Children unable to be picked up will be kept on the campus and supervised for the remainder of the day. Two chartered buses have been brought in and stationed at the campus. District officials say remaining students will be on the buses with school staff and the buses are equipped with heat and restroom facilities.
