It was frightening moments Tuesday night for a Christoval woman traveling on FM 2335. 44 year old Connie Chamblee was ambulanced to Shannon Medical Center after veering off the Dove Creek Bridge. DPS officials say that it was about 10:00 Tuesday night when the accident took place. Chamblee was driving a Hyundai Elantra on FM 2335 near South Dove Creek Road when she hit a guard rail, went off the roadway. Officials say she was airborne for nearly 700 feet before the vehicle came to rest in the brush. Chamblee suffered injuries to her head, abdomen and arms. She was cited for no insurance and failure to drive in a single lane.
