Routine Traffic Stop Turns Into Arrest

A San Angelo man was arrested - after police found heroine in the vehicle he was driving.
San Angelo officers on scene say it began as a routine traffic stop at Washington and South Oakes Streets. The driver was placed under arrest for driving without a valid license. Subsequent search of the vehicle led narcotics officers to find 27 units - totaling approximately 5 grams - of a substance that field tested positive for heroine. 48 year old Joe Ramon is charged with manufacture-delivery of a controlled substance
