Local Business Without Water for Water Main Repair

Utility crews for the City of San Angelo will be shutting off water to an area business Wednesday night to repair a water main leak on the southwest part of town.
The City's Community Information Coordinator ,Maryann Vasquez, says crews responded to the leak on College Hills Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard Tuesday morning around 8:30. Crews, who attribute the leak to rusty bolts, repaired the leak Tuesday after digging a large hole in the middle of the street, disrupting traffic. Wednesday night, after 9 o'clock, crews will shut off water to the China Garden Restaurant in order to repack the water valve and refill the hole. Traffic in front of the restaurant will detoured until crews are finished.
